Maya was due for her check-up, so we decided to get Cortlyn in for a visit to the dentist as well--her first one. Maya loves going to the dentist and helped make Cortlyn's first time a good experience. Cortlyn watched Maya go first and then it was her turn. She held the watermelon flavored toothpaste while her teeth got cleaned and opened her mouth nice and wide when asked. The only time she got a little uneasy was when the hygenist tilted the chair back a bit more to get a better look inside Cortlyn's mouth--She grabbed on to the hygenist's shirt and Maya's hand instantly. Maya thought it was hilarious. But none-the-less, she too, can't wait for the next check-up! =)
