Happy Easter!

What a FUN weekend!!

Egg racing: Through the legs this time!

Sweet Sisters

Always looking out for her little sister, Maya helped Cortlyn get some of the hard-to-reach
eggs the Easter Bunny had hidden throughout the house.

A Hannah Montana egg!!

Hooray for the "cutest little lamb you've ever seen"
as Cortlyn put it (a PEZ dispenser?!)

We had a great time celebrating Easter on Saturday with family and then again on Sunday (just the 4 of us). Saturday, everyone came to our house to visit/play and for an egg hunt (not a lot of hiding places this time--the plants and grass at the McCallum household are struggling after our crazy LONG winter!!), followed by dinner. Maya and Cortlyn always have a blast playing with their cousins: Ellia, Jane, Vince, and Cannon. Afterwards, they threw on old t-shirts and decorated some eggs before going to sleep for the evening.

They woke up Sunday morning eager to see if the Easter Bunny had made his way to our house. He had hidden some eggs around the house and filled their baskets with lots of fun goodies. =) Another beautiful day, we went outside to play...including bike riding, basketball, and egg races (Mac's British tradition of rolling their hardboiled eggs down a hill--aka our driveway). As you can see in the picture, they got a bit creative with rolling their eggs after awhile. =)
