We had a great day at the zoo with Mimi, Aunt Jill, and Cannon. Cortlyn was determined to get her picture taken by every statue they have, (Maya joined her most of the time), but I also managed to get some of them by real animals. =) We saw all sorts of animals, rode on the carousel (Maya chose the tiger and Cortlyn, the wolf), crawled in the tunnel through the fish in the aquarium section, saw the dinosaur exhibit, cooled off in front of the misting fans, and enjoyed a nice big frozen lemonade. And, of course, we couldn't leave without a ride on the train. Cortlyn had about all the fun she could take at that point, and fell asleep on Mimi before the ride was over. =) What a fun day!
