When we arrived in Lodi, we were there just long enough to get settled in before my cousin, Amanda (Uncle Roger and Aunt Anna's daughter, currently living in Tahoe) arrived. We had Aunt Vicki's delicious taco salad for dinner and then enjoyed a fun game of Farkle before heading to bed to get rested up for our big outing the next day.
After breakfast, we headed out to Fairfield, home of the Jelly Belly Factory--YUM!! It was very cool to see the process that goes into making one of those yummy little treats--even better that we got some free samples along the way!!
Note: We made sure to get the girls' picture by the picture of William and Kate (one of many pictures made entirely out of Jelly Bellies!), especially for our family in the UK!! =)
We had a lot of fun and it was so good to catch up with Amanda. It's been TOO long. So glad you made the trip, Amanda--Hopefully we'll see you over Thanksgiving!! =)
