Disney World Part 1

Disney World truly is a MAGICAL place.  Even with the crowds, all of the waiting in line, etc., you can't help but smile--We had a WONDERFUL time watching the girls' faces light up from the moment we entered the parks on our first day to when we walked away on our last day...The trip seemed to fly by, but we definitely cherished our time there and came away with SO many great memories...

We arrived in Orlando in the afternoon of the 28th, checked into our hotel, and headed straight to Animal Kingdom--Maya and Cortlyn were most concerned with meeting the characters and getting autographs, so that became our main priority throughout our trip.

Our first character greetings were Goofy, Donald, Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger.  They were so thrilled.  Of course, we got some rides in as well.  The Triceratop Spin is one of their favorites and they definitely were NOT fans of the Dinosaur ride (oops!--Thought it would be fun, but not so much.  Both girls found it to be a bit scary) and the Bug's Life Show (Also a bit on the scary side...for Cortlyn especially...She's not a fan of bugs...Wonder where she gets that from?!).

To wrap up the night, we headed over to Epcot for a bit to ride a few rides (Nemo and my personal childhood favorite ride with Figment specifically) and then went back to the hotel to rest up for the next few, much LONGER Disney days...
