Maya participated in an extracurricular program called Destination Imagination for the first time this year and really enjoyed it. Her team named themselves the BIG BUG CLUB and their goal was to design a short play and act it out in front of judges on the competition day. They practiced once a week for several months and on February 19th, the competition took place. Mimi, Bop, Grandma, Cortlyn, and I were there--Unfortunately, poor Mac was still in the hospital. =( We took lots of pictures and video for him though!!
Her costume was store-bought, but had to contain some handmade items, so she designed some flowers out of tissue paper and a fancy stinger out of a party hat and pom pom balls.--Hilarious! =)
i love these photos maya did great i was so proud of herxxx
