We saved our presents to give Maya on the morning of her real birthday--Mac and I surprised her with the DS she's been wanting (which proved to come in handy on our trip to Florida), Cortlyn picked out a Barbie horse set and new Zhu Zhu pet for her, and Kicks (part of the family!) gave her a new Webkinz. =)
That evening, we met up with Mimi, Uncle Chris, Aunt Jill, Cannon, and Jill's sister Jamie, at Chili's (Maya's choice). =) YUM! The waiters all sang to her and gave her a delicious cake with ice cream. Everyone was able to try some and it was sure good...until Cannon's shoe ended up landing on it!! Too funny!! Definitely something to remember about her 7th birthday!! =)
Happy Birthday, Big Girl--Can't wait to see what the next year has in store for you!
.i wish i had been there to try that lovely cake you all look to be having fun
